I’m told I’m supposed to do this…

I hear I should have a free book to give to folks who join my author mailing list, so while I wait on edits for book one (Deck Runner’s Gambit), I’ve completed my outline for book 2 (Bloodweaver’s Bind), AND am just about finished with book 0.5 (Rebel Magics) – what will be a free novella for newsletter subscribers that serves as a general prequel to the Vegas Arcana world in general, and more specifically to book 2 itself.
